1. Sr. Programme Officer / Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Undertaking action research based on secondary sources

2. Writing different types of project proposals

3. Documentation/ preparation of project and other reports

4. Networking with stakeholders and partners

5. Other tasks as assigned from time to time

Required: PhD/M. Phil/ Masters in Social Sciences; 5-6 years of research experience; Capability/ skill to handle action research projects; Knowledge of computers; Excellent communication skills in English; Experience of working in trans-national projects and training facilitation skills would be an added advantage.

2. Programme Officer – Urban Governance

Key responsibilities:

1. Coordination with teams based in PRIA offices in different states

2. Conceptualization and designing of programme components

3. Conducting research on themes related to urban governance

4. Documentation/ preparation of project and other reports

5. Networking with stakeholders and partners

6. Other tasks as assigned from time to time

Required: Masters in Urban Planning; Good writing and communication skills in English; Knowledge of and hands on experience of ArcGIS, AutoCad is must for this position; 1-2 years' work experience on urban planning, urban poverty, urban reforms and infrastructure development. Should be open for field position in state headquarter.

3. Senior Manager / Programme Officer – Gender Mainstreaming

Qualifications: A Masters/Diploma in Gender Studies with a minimum of five years experience with the knowledge, awareness and practice on gender mainstreaming in the workplace/institutional gender mainstreaming, prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace.

Key responsibilities: S/he would be responsible for undertaking trainings related to gender awareness, gender mainstreaming, prevention of sexual harassment, other related aspects to gender in the workplace like gender audit and gender budgeting, field research, implementation of projects as and when required along with advocacy interventions. S/he would also be responsible for networking, liaison, and organizing seminars, conducting campaigns and other public events. S/he would have to be comfortable in both English and Hindi.

4. Programme Officer – Gender Mainstreaming

5. Accountant

The candidate should be minimum B. Com. with 3-4 years' experience in handling accounts matters, preferably NGOs. Competencies related to statutory compliance such as FCRA, Income Tax and interest and willingness to learn ERP (Oracle) is a must. Knowledge of any ERP would be an added advantage.

Compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Other terms and conditions for all above-mentioned positions

• Initial appointment on contract for 1-2 years;

• Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
